The Strike face Is Designed To Set Roofing Nails, While The Dowel Provides The User With A Gauge To Set The Reveal Of Each Shingle. The Cutting Blade Attached To The Hatchet Is Used To Trim Roofing Felt & Asphalt Shingles.
